We are a small, nationally based interpretation group, covering the Tudor and Stuart periods, specialising in domestic life. What we do best is take an historic house and allow you to experience history in the place it was made.

"The poetry of history lies in the quasi-miraculous fact that once, on this earth, on this familiar spot of ground, walked other men and women, as actual as we are today..."

Successful day at King John's House
Many thanks to those that ventured out on a cold December Saturday. Although a small event in a small museum, we were kept busy talking to visitors all day. Based around preparing for Christmas, the conversations also ventured into all sorts of topics about Romsey in 1580.
Cheers

We specialise in turning an old house into a home, bringing a Tudor or Stuart family to life, to fully interact with your visitors.
We can also offer a range of variations around the same period, depending on what you have available.
We are always keen for new people to come and join us. As we recreate domestic life, we're open to all. No previous experience or in depth knowledge is required. The 'Workshop' in our title is all about training our members.
